Become An Apprentice

Apprentices and trainees work and earn a salary while they learn skills on-the-job.  As an apprentice or trainee, you will also be enrolled to complete a nationally recognised training qualification with a Registered Training Organisation (or RTO).  Apprenticeships and traineeships are the first step into some exciting and rewarding careers!

Your choice of which apprenticeship or traineeship is up to you. A good way to determine whether a particular apprenticeship will be to your liking is to undertake a much shorter qualification such as a pre-apprenticeship beforehand.

AGA offers a wide range of training in pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship qualifications, and employment for apprentices and trainees.  For more information, choose the qualification that interests you.

If you feel one of these qualifications is exactly what you want, then you can enquire about a pre-apprenticeship (Certificate II) or apply for an apprenticeship (Certificate III). Please note that you may be required to have completed a pre-apprenticeship before you can apply for an apprenticeship with AGA in some trades.

If you would like more information on these qualifications then you can phone (1300 242 000) or email an enquiry to our staff.

If you would like to consider other apprenticeship and traineeship qualifications which AGA does not provide then you can go to the Australian Government Apprenticeship website for more information.
