Carpentry

APPRENTICES

AGA offers many carpentry apprenticeships throughout Victoria every year.

Carpenters are involved in the building and construction industry, and may work on domestic building sites (building, renovating or repairing new homes), commercial sites (building or fitting out commercial shops or offices) or industrial sites (major construction projects or public works, which involve a range of contractors).

Carpentry is a satisfying trade which offers the prospect of working outdoors and “being your own boss”. The building trade in Australia is growing and carpentry remains a very popular choice for young people entering into apprenticeships.
