APPRENTICE FIELD OFFICER - Melbourne

Apprenticeships Group Australia (AGA), one of Australia's biggest Group Training Companies is currently an employer of over 500 apprentices and trainees in Melbourne.  We are expanding our commitment to the employment and training opportunities we offer to young people.  We have an outstanding opportunity for candidates who share this commitment to join our Group Training field team.

The successful candidate will;

  • Take responsibility in assisting current Host Employers with all aspects of apprenticeship employment training.
  • Commit to mentor, support and care about all of our apprentices and trainees whilst in their placements with host employers. 
  • Have the desire and ability to seek out new employment opportunities in industry and will share and promote the genuine values of AGA.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to relate to a wide range of people and possess a good understanding of business and industry - a plumbing or engineering trade background would be a distinct advantage.  Naturally you will be able to relate to young people and an understanding of the apprenticeship and training system would also be highly regarded.

It is essential that the successful candidate be able to work autonomously and operate in a rapidly changing environment.  The role requires an individual who has a good track record in service delivery and an attention to detail.  Success will be measured by the relationships you create with stakeholders.

An attractive salary package, commensurate with the experience and qualifications of the right candidate will apply to this position.  This includes a fully maintained company vehicle and five weeks annual leave each year.  The position will require the candidate to operate throughout the Melbourne region.
