AGA is built around the idea of listening to employer needs and responding in a way which is flexible and helpful. Our business depends on strong, ongoing relationships with industry.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we do not have shareholders or owners who receive profits from AGA. Our ‘owners’ are our host employers and apprentices, and any surpluses we make are re-invested back into improving our services to you.

We are always happy to hear more about your business, and invite our host employers to make contact with us if there is a specific apprenticeship or training service you require.

Given our experience across the vocational education and training sector, AGA has the expertise to assist your business, and in many instances we can create a training or employment program specifically around your business needs.

In the past this has included:

  • Developing ongoing apprentice hire programs (at discounted rates) based on the long term business plan and HR needs for your organisation;
  • Contract construction work (we have our own registered building company which can be engaged on small or large domestic or commercial contract work);
  • Delivering nationally accredited training to your existing (qualified) staff (or ‘up-skilling’) as a form of professional development;
  • Providing workplace safety and employment advice to our host employers;
  • Designing school based apprenticeship programs for your business; or
  • Adapting or designing training programs around your specific business activity. This could involve your selection of modules as part of an apprentices’ training or the complete design of a new qualification.
