Training Services

AGA is an accredited Registered Training Organisation (TOID 3829), offering a wide range of apprenticeship, traineeship, pre-vocational, VET and short courses.

School Services

AGA partners with local TAFE institutes and schools, to provide the following services around:
  • VET in Schools programs
  • School Based Apprenticeships or Traineeships
  • Pre-vocational qualifications for students leaving school
A training schedule and plan is negotiated prior to commencing training. For more information, please contact our Student Administration team on 1300 AGA 000.

Training your apprentice

You don’t need to be employed as an apprentice or trainee with AGA to access our training services. AGA offers apprenticeship and traineeship training to the general public as well.

AGA is committed to delivering training that is practical in focus and has a strong emphasis on Occupational Health and Safety and the employability skills that modern industry expects.

AGA can develop a flexible, tailored training program for your employees. Training is structured to meet your business needs, hours and budget. Some of the above courses can be delivered either partly or fully in an employers’ workplace.

AGA’s training services are delivered with the support of funding from the Victorian and Australian governments. AGA can provide a full credit transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning at the time of enrolment for students with prior training or industry experience. Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.


AGA runs a network of eight training facilities, located throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our training services are built around flexibility to meet the needs of employers and students.
